Tim Wood, the proprietor of the former Old Surgery Gallery in Clun, who began running Prize Bingo back in 2011 to raise money for the then St George’s Church Building Fund will be shaking the balls up, again, on Friday, July 30, for a special bingo session in aid of Clun Carnival Funds.

There was £8,194.31 raised for the Building Fund and when that closed bingo continued to support Church expenses running until 2017. Such was the demand for bingo locally that Mr Wood regurgitated bingo a year later organising Bingo sessions in aid of various local and national charities where nearly £2,000 was donated from the proceeds. It was only the pandemic that closed the regular sessions down.

Now bingo is back and will be held at Clun Methodist Church Hall in the High Street with eyes down at 7.30pm. Admission is £2 which includes tea or coffee and homemade cake during the interval.
