Police said: "We are pleased to report that Margaret Costello has been found.
"Over 1,600 of you shared our appeal, which resulted in vital information being passed to our officers, helping them locate Margaret.
"Thank you to those that called us with information and thank you to everyone who took the time to share and comment, amplifying important messages like this really does make a difference."
POLICE are seeking a woman missing from her home in Shropshire.
Margaret Costello, who is 77, was last seen in Wem at around 6.30am on Tuesday, July 14.
She is described as white, about 4ft 7in tall. She has a petite build with short blonde/grey short hair cut in a bob. She wears glasses.
It is believed she is wearing black shoes, black trousers, a black anorak and was carrying a red handbag and pulling a trolley for shopping.
Ms Costello also has links with Ellesmere, Oswestry, Holywell and Hawarden in North Wales and Merseyside areas.
