LUDLOW town centre has been given a boost with the opening on a new business that has moved from Worcester.

It has been officially opened by Ludlow Mayor Robin Pote.

Promesse originated and was in Worcester for 23 years where it traded successfully and attracted customers coming from all over the country for that special occasion outfit such as a prom, evening wear, cruise wear, and accessories but on recently relocating to Ludlow in the last 18 months, Linda Clark decided to move the shop to the town.

Her background has been in retail management for more than 20 years in various large stores across the country which gave Ms Clark the knowledge and experience to set up her own specialised shop which had been a dream.

Promesse operates very much on an appointment basis between Monday to Saturday, closed on Tuesday, between the hours of 10am until 5pm,

“This enables me to be able to give that one to one service for that special occasion outfit.”

Like other businesses it is hoped the opening up after Covid will bring in the customers.
