A STUNNING set of Clee Hill images by photographer Kate Maxwell are on display in a Ludlow gallery until the end of July.

The Photospace Charity Gallery in Quality Sqaure has cautiously re-opened to the public on weekends only, with an exhibition titled ‘The Wounded Hill’ featuring around 40 images of Titterstone Clee Hill by the Shropshire photographer.

The project was conceived before the pandemic struck but provided Kate with an interesting challenge during lockdown when she was allowed to travel locally, most of it using her ebike.

‘Titterstone Clee Hill is an iconic and much-loved feature of south Shropshire’ Ms Maxwell says in an article in OnLandscape magazine. ‘On most days I see it from the end of my road. It varies in colour.’

The exhibition has followed on from The 2020 Ludlow Seven ‘People’s Choice’ winner Carol Langford’s images titled ‘Times Like These’ which can be viewed on the gallery website at https://tpsc.online along with ‘Better in Black and White’ by Harry Fearn.

The Photo Space Charity uses photography to help people with difficult in their lives. More details are on the website.
