PENELOPE Bridstrup has been playing a key part in saving lives in Ludlow and the surrounding area for 15 years.
Ms Bridstrup has steadfastly supported Ludlow Defib 4 You for over 15 years, and has served as secretary for 14 years.
In this role, she has been instrumental to the long term success of the group. The machines use an electric shock to try to restart a heart.
She has actively recruited new members, supported training events, fund raising, and worked with partner organisations to ensure the lifesaving defibrillators are available in public places in Ludlow. Her service to the community has been recognised by the Town Council with a civic award.
