THE A49 through south Shropshire has been partially blocked after a car towing a caravan was involved in a crash with a lorry.
Pictures from the scene, in Craven Arms, showed fire crews working around the seriously damaged caravan.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called at 12.53pm on Monday (June 7) to reports of the crash in Craven Arms, between Ludlow and Church Stretton.
It sent four fire crews from Church Stretton, Craven Arms and Wellington to the scene, and an operations officer was also in attendance.
"This incident was a road traffic collision between a HGV and a private saloon towing a caravan," the fire service said.
"Fire crews made vehicle and caravan safe."
It's believed nobody was seriously injured in the crash, which West Mercia Police said left the A49 partially blocked.
