The fire service has issued a warning to people enjoying the warm weather this weekend after a blaze at a log cabin near Tenbury Wells.
The crew from Tenbury's station said they had been called Burford at around midday on Sunday (June 6), where wooden decking had caught fire.
They said the fire was caused by a disposable barbecue placed on the decking on Saturday night.
"This serves as a reminder to always take care with disposable barbecues, place them on a non combustible surface and always make sure they are cold before going to bed at night," firefighters said.
Crowds flocked to beaches on Sunday to soak up the sunshine as temperatures hit almost 23C across part of England.
Photographs showed hundreds of people packed onto Bournemouth beach in Dorset on Saturday, while in the north kayakers took to Derwentwater in the Lake District.
Temperatures hit highs of 22.8C at Wisley in Surrey at 3pm, 22.7C in Hull and 22.6C at St James’ Park in central London.
The mercury was forecast to rise even higher on Sunday, with 24C expected in London and 21C in Newcastle.
However, Met Office meteorologist Sarah Kent said it was not going to be wall-to-wall sunshine.
