TENBURY MP Harriett Baldwin quizzed former Prime Minister David Cameron about his involved with failed finance business Greensill.

Mrs Baldwin, whose West Worcestershire constituency includes Tenbury, is a member of the Treasury Committee that was quizzing the former Prime Minister about his involvement with the company that collapsed in March.

The company provided funding for businesses and Mr Cameron was employed as an adviser.

Mr Cameron admitted that he was paid more than his £150,000 a year salary as Prime Minister and had a major financial interest in the success of the company.

He said that although not a member of the Board, he had access to board meetings but claimed he did not know the business was in trouble.

Mrs Baldwin asked Mr Cameron about his relationship with two of the key players. The former Prime Minister said that his contacting the Chancellor of the Exchequer and treasury officials on behalf of Greensill was not motivated by personal interest.
