THE Minor Injuries Unit at Tenbury Community Hospital is open again from this morning.
It was closed earlier in the year so that staff could be redeployed to help deal with the increase in the number of Covid-19 cases but now that the level has dropped the unit that is on the same site as the community hospital can open again.
The unit will resume its previous opening hours of 9am-5pm 7 days a week, and can be accessed via NHS111 referral, or as a walk-in patient.
Minor Injury Units can treat patients with a minor injury for example cuts, grazes, wounds, sprains, strains and minor burns.
