A LUDLOW care home has earned Platinum status from the Investors in People accreditation body for its commitment to training staff and improvement.

It means policies and practices around supporting people are embedded in every corner of Hendra House and in a platinum company, everyone, from the owners to the newest apprentice, knows they have a part to play and is continually looking for ways to improve.

Hendra House is a care home with a commitment to delivering outstanding quality care to all residents and their families.

The home has already been voted the best care employer in the sector at the last two national Care Accolades awards demonstrating its commitment to excellence in care for residents.

“We are delighted to have achieved this prestigious award as it recognises fully the contribution that each member of staff makes to the success of the business,” said Vince Burmingham, owner of Hendra House.

They are a credit not only to the home but also to the social care sector especially during the recent pandemic”.
