A GROUP of travellers to set up in Ludlow town centre have moved on.
The two caravans with awnings took up residence on a corner of the main town centre car park.
It happened at a time when the town was in lockdown and so did not prevent anyone from parking in the largely deserted town centre.
Traveller families are known to make their way through the area at various times of the year.
There are traveller sites provided by Shropshire Council with the nearest one being in Craven Arms.
Local authorities are required to provide places where travellers can pitch so as to not have to camp in places like town centre car parks.
