BOTH Ludlow GP surgeries have a range of support available for people who are struggling with their mental health at this time.
The services that include access to specialists are to provide care for people that are suffering from conditions such as depression and anxiety.
Hangs Together Ludlow, the community based group of volunteers that supports vulnerable people in the town, has said that it is finding people who are not just physically isolated but also psychologically isolated.
This is a combination of fear of Covid-19 and loss of confidence from not being able to get out.
There are a number of apps that are available to help people to help themselves to manage their mental wellbeing at a time of unprecedented worry and stress for many and these can be found on the Portcullis surgery Facebook page.
These include Catch It – a free app to manage feelings like anxiety and depression and look at problems differently. Available on the App Store and Google Play.
