A CRAFTSMAN from Ludlow is continuing his work to help make the town and surrounding area more welcoming and comfortable for residents and visitors when life returns to some kind of normality.
Graeme Perks, a Ludlow town councillor, who trained at the London School of Furniture is keeping all the bench repair materials allocated to the appropriate project.
Projects currently ongoing are at Clee Hill ,Knowbury, Ludlow Town Council Castle Garden and the Ludlow War Memorial Fund last Garden of Rest Seat near to the alms house.
Mr Perks has an expertise in the restoration of benches that have fallen foul to the turn of time but capable of having a new lease of life thanks to his tender care and skills in carpentry.
