THE cold snap that has left Ludlow and Tenbury looking like a Christmas card has brought some relief to the two towns.
Freezing temperatures followed falls of snow and left the area covered in white.
But it means that for the first time in weeks there has been no need to worry about flooding.
There have been no flood warnings or alerts for either towns in the past week as river levels have fallen.
It is almost 12 months since major flooding caused devastation in Tenbury and parts of Ludlow.
