THE community group Hands Together Ludlow is helping people at both ends of the age scale to make use of computing and digital technology.

Not every home has a computer or laptop and even when they have one it can be a problem if someone is working from home whilst children also want to do school work remotely.

But the group is working with Ludlow School to provide refurbished laptops for students.

However, older people who may not have been very IT savvy are also being helped.

The group is offering support and training to help people who are unsure of themselves when it comes to using technology to get on line.

Necessity can drive change and for many who had no interest in online, it has become the way to keep in touch with friends and family as well as for basics like ordering food, banking and making important appointments.
