A LUDLOW councillor says that the best response to the minority of businesses not following Covid safe rules is to register a protest by not using them.
But he says that residents should also be prepared to report them in order to help fight the virus.
It is a countywide issue and attempts are being made to get any businesses that do not follow the rules to comply.
"There are reports of a small minority of businesses not following the lockdown rules, including locally, said Mr Boddington, who is Shropshire councillor for Ludlow North that includes the town centre.
"Some are ignoring the spirits of the regulations and finding ways of getting around them. Shropshire Council is working hard to address these incidents across the county.
"Please do not support any business trying to get around the regulations. Report any you think are, or might be, breaching regulations."
