RIVER levels have been falling in Ludlow and Tenbury.

Alerts warning of possible flooding of farm land are in force but warnings have been removed.

Both towns had feared a repeat of last February but levels started to fall on Thursday and Friday.

It was a different story on the River Seven in Worcestershire where the Environment Agency warned of levels approaching those of last year.
