THE ward winning Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre is closed for the third time in the past year.

Run by the Grow, Cook and Learn Charity the iconic centre in Craven Arms is urging people to stay away until the situation improves.

The Discovery Centre has posted the following advice to people living in the area and those hoping to visit.

‘With Shropshire now in full lockdown, the Discovery Centre has to close until the restrictions are eased.

‘We are so very sad to be closing our doors for the third time, but this is the only way this awful virus can be conquered. Our car park and meadows remain open and we ask that if you live locally, you enjoy them responsibly.

‘We would like to send out our best wishes to everyone who has been affected by the pandemic.

The vaccine brings hope of an end to this, but until then please stay safe and stick to the rules’.

The Discovery Centre, with its grass roof, has been recognised nationally and awarded the industry standard mark ‘We’re Good To Go by Visit England.’
