TONIGHT’S dramatic episode of Ambulance: Code Red follows emergency medics as they race to the aid of a coronavirus patient who is in a critical condition.
The Channel 5 reality TV show follows the critical care medics, who work with West Midlands Ambulance Service and the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, who attend the most time sensitive and life threatening incidents across the Black Country and wider West Midlands.
Set to air at 9pm tonight (Monday) episode four sees critical care paramedic Tom Waters and trauma doctor Matt Rowley dispatched to the aid of a man with suspected Covid-19 who has just had a cardiac arrest.

The show has been a source of much-needed publicity for the Lye based Midlands Air Ambulance Charity which has been forced to cancel all of its physical fundraising events this year due to the coronavirus pandemic – leaving it desperate for cash as the organisation relies on donations from kind-hearted members of the public to keep its critical care cars on the roads and its emergency helicopters in the skies.
All episodes to date of Ambulance: Code Red can be seen on the on-demand service My5.
