We celebrated another highly successful year in 2020, with an outstanding A Level pass rate of 98.2% and exceptional levels of achievement in our vocational courses.

This makes Halesowen College one of the highest performing 16-18 providers in the area.

Megan Lock received an A in Criminology and Sociology and a B in Psychology – she will be going to study Psychology at The University of Sheffield later this year.

And Alireza Ramazanshahsavan achieved an A* in Maths and an A in Chemistry and Physics, he will also be studying at The University of Sheffield.

The College also has one of the highest levels of progression into higher education, apprenticeships and sustainable employment in the whole of the UK.

Other students decided to continue studying for their higher-level qualifications at the College, choosing from an impressive range of HNC/D and Foundation Degree programmes.

Our students really appreciate the outstanding levels of support and excellent teaching at Halesowen College. The safeguarding of students is of upmost importance and the College’s ‘Safe Campus’ policy is just one way of helping students to feel secure whilst learning.

You can also find out more about the new T Level qualifications, which are being introduced in 2021. We have been selected by the Government to offer T Levels and we will be piloting them in Early Years, Health and Healthcare Science.
