THE Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms is just one of the places that has signed up for Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak’s ‘eat out to help out’ initiative.
It is hoped that families visiting the centre during the school holidays in August will take advantage of the chance to have a 50 per cent discount on drinks and meals.
People can get the discount off food and non-alcoholic drinks up to £10 per person.
The offer is available every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until the end of August.
Whether it’s a cup of tea to enjoy with a friend, an ice cream for the kids, a bacon butty or a meal the staff are ready to give the discount that is intended to help pubs, restaurants and cafes get back on their feet.
There have been some changes to make the cafe at the Discovery Centre compliant with ‘Covid safe’ regulations.
People can eat inside or outside provided it is dry but products must be consumed on site and not taken away.
