A MARKET stall holder travels the country in order to capture the perfect picture to paint.

Anita Parkhill is a wildlife artist who has a stall at Ludlow Market where she showcases her work and is this week's Ludlow Advertiser's Trader of the Week.

Alongside her business Anita also helps to showcase the market coming out of lockdown with her "What's on the Market Today" video's.

These videos are showcased on Facebook and help to give people a flavour of what they can expect to find at the market on that day.

All of Anita's artwork is first photographed by her so she can choose the best pose to paint.

She travels from the north of Scotland to the south of England to capture the pictures she requires.

"The complete joy for me is firstly, travelling, finding and photographing my subject matter," said Anita.

"This is the only way I will create my unique paintings for me and my clients."

Most of Anita's artwork has a story behind it and she sells her own originals, limited edition prints and gifts all displaying her artwork.

You can visit Anita's website here: www.anitaparkhill.com which gives examples of her prints, gifts and personal gifts.

Alternatively, you can visit her store at Ludlow Market.
