Police are appealing for information after a man exposed himself at a station in Trafford.

At around 2.45pm on Thursday, July 23, a man stood on the platform at Cornbrook Metrolink station and was seen to indecently expose himself to others waiting on the platform.

He then boarded a tram and is believed to have alighted at Deansgate Castlefield.

The man is described as white, in his late 30s with long hair, of average build and was wearing a dark grey coat, red top and blue jogging pants.

Sergeant Nick Bamber of GMP’s Transport Unit said: “This is a concerning incident and while no-one was hurt, we’re keen to identify and speak to the man responsible.

“Greater Manchester Police’s Transport Unit takes these matters extremely seriously and have launched a full investigation to find this individual.

“Were you in the area at the time of the offence or have any information that can assist us?

“We are particularly keen to speak to a witness who approached Metrolink security officers on the day and might have witnessed this matter.”
