ARMED police were called to an address in Bournemouth town centre after reports of two knife-wielding men involved in an altercation.
One man was arrested on suspicion of affray.
He is currently assisting officers with their enquires.
A Dorset Police spokesman told the Daily Echo: "Dorset Police were called at 3.49pm on Thursday, April 2, to a report of a disturbance.
"It was reported that two men were involved in an altercation at an address and that both were carrying knives.
"Enquires into the incident are ongoing."
The drama unfolded at a property on Poole Hill, near the Triangle, Bournemouth.
