TWO males were ordered to leave Bournemouth town centre by police as they were sat on a bench drinking wine.
Officers issued the men with section 35 dispersal notices after they refused to leave the area.
The notice directed them to leave immediately and not return within 12 hours and if they did, they would be arrested.
One of the men did return and was subsequently arrested.
A post on the Bournemouth South Police Facebook page said: “Today we have challenged numerous groups of people who have been stood or sat together who do not live in the same household.
“There are still a lot who are ignoring the government guidelines to social distance.
“However we have spoken to lots of lovely people following the guidelines and thanking us for looking after them.”
