Half A String Theatre Company present Under The Frozen Moon at The Courtyard next Saturday.

It’s so cold in Nunavut that the moon has frozen. A greedy dragon has gobbled every fire and light. In this heart-warming tale, a fierce, courageous young girl sets out to confront the dragon who has hoarded all the fire and lights for himself.

Half A String Theatre combines the talents of artistic director Peter Morton and associate artist Avi Simmons. Between the two, their collective skills include design, puppetry, music, writing and performing.

With lively poetry, transforming sets, exciting puppetry and atmospheric live music, Under the Frozen Moon brings life to a beautiful world of ice and adventure.

There will be a Relaxed Performance of Under The Frozen Moon at 1.30pm on Saturday, November 23. Relaxed Performances are specifically designed for those who would appreciate a less formal theatre environment (including those with autism spectrum conditions or learning difficulties). The aim is to retain all the magic of a theatre experience but in a more relaxed environment through sensitive changes to the performance. A quiet, sensory room will also be provided for audience members to use if they need a break from the performance.

Under The Frozen Moon will be in The Courtyard’s Studio Theatre on Saturday, November 23 at 11am and 1.30pm. To book tickets, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk.
