There was a treat for rally fans this weekend, with the return of the Lombard Rally to Cirencester Park.

Starting out from Bath Racecourse, Cirencester Park was first spectator point on Saturday morning, with cars darting through the woods on the narrow tracks not used for over 30 years.

The cars then navigated their way through the roads of Gloucestershire, onto Wales.

The retro event aimed to recreate the magic of 1970s and 1980s car rallies.

This year’s event is supporting Mission Motorsport, a charity which helps ex-servicemen or women start a new career in motorsport or the motor industry.

These stunning photos are some of the best pictures taken by members of the Gloucestershire Camera Club.

The online camera club, run by the Gloucestershire Gazette, the Stroud News and Journal and the Wilts and Glos Standard, is free for anyone living in Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire or North Wiltshire to join.

The camera club, set up in February 2017, now boasts more than 1,300 members.

To submit pictures to the club, or just to check out some of the other marvellous work being sent in, simply join the Facebook group by searching Gloucestershire Camera Club.
