There is less than one week to go until the opening night of Thornbury Musical Theatre Group's production of Barnum.
Rehearsals are now in full swing for the circus based musical that will be held at the Amstrong Hall.
The show, taking place from October 23-26, will feature singing, dancing and circus skills.
It tells the story of Phineas Taylor Barnum, the self-proclaimed Greatest Showman on Earth, who inspired the 2017 hit film starring Hugh Jackman.
The show marries musical theatre and circus to tell the true story of a man who wanted to sell his vision to the world.
It follows Barnum's journey from humble beginnings selling lottery tickets to being one of the world’s most celebrated showmen, courted by presidents, kings and queens and producing such greats as Tom Thumb, Jenny Lind and Jumbo the Elephant.
Never satisfied unless he is living a life full of colour, fame and fortune. it won’t be easy for Barnum to keep his feet on the ground, no matter what his wife Charity might say.
Performances will be at 7.30pm every night and there will also be a matinée on the Saturday at 2.30pm.
Tickets are priced at £12.50 for adults and £10.50 for children.
They are available from tmtg.org.uk or by contacting the box office on 07516 270140.
Tickets are also available at Lisa Costa Residential Sales and Lettings on Thornbury High Street.
