THE Archbishop of Canterbury is in Ludlow today as he spends three days visiting the Diocese of Hereford.
The aim of the Archbishop’s visit is to meet lots of local people, see the work within the parishes and share the mission and work of the church across the diocese inspired by the Bishop of Hereford, the Rt Revd Richard Frith, who retires later in the year.
The diocese covers from Ross-on-Wye in the south to Telford in the north and includes 420 churches in 356 parishes.
The Most Reverend Justin Welby's day in the county started with a visit to St Laurence in Ludlow.
