AN exceptional evening of live standup comedy is in the offing in Denbighshire next month.

“Live at the Rhyl Pavilion” is bringing some of the biggest names in the world of comedy to Rhyl next month, including the hilarious Mark Watson, as seen on Taskmaster.

There's also an unbeatable supporting line-up featuring Stephen Buchanan, Helen Bauer and host Eshaan Akbar.

With performers coming straight from the Edinburgh comedy festival, this brand new stand-up show is live for one night only on Friday, November 22 at 8pm.

At only £18 per person, this night of comedy is not to be missed.

You will recognise Mark Watson from shows such as Mock The Week, Celebrity Pointless, Taskmaster, Have I Got News For You, Would I Lie To You?, Live At The Apollo and Channel 4’s Comedy Gala.

He is currently recording another series of his hit Radio 4 show Mark Watson Talks A Bit About Life.

Stephen Buchanan, winner of BBC New Comedy Award 2018 and winner of the Scottish Comedian of the Year 2018, is one of the most promising young comedians to emerge from Scotland in recent years.

His self-deprecating persona along with his observational style make him a hit with audience and fellow comedians alike.

Helen Bauer, as seen and heard on BBC Radio 4, BBC Three and Comedy Central Online, and a finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards 2018, is guaranteed to keep you laughing for her whole performance as she takes anecdotal comedy to another level.

MC Eshaan Akbar is a fast-rising comedy talent who has appeared on the Frankie Boyle's New World Order and Walks of Life for the BBC and Sky TV, as well as on BBC Radio 4's "The Now Show", BBC Asian Network, and is a regular on TalkSPORT and LoveSport.
