This weekend sees the Big Skill Crafts Festival and Workshops at The Globe in Hay-on-Wye.
The popular annual event celebrates craftsmanship, handmade arts and crafts and showcases local makers. Among the crafts on display and workshops and demonstrations on the line-up are glass and copper jewellery workshops, knitting and crochet, handmade quilts, mini-crochet, paintings and photography, encaustic art, upcycled textiles and wooden lamps, handmade leatherwork, floral cushions, will weaving and rag-rugging workshops, with wooden toy workshops and children's screen printing on Sunday.
There will also be activities by Hay, Brecon and Talgarth Sanctuary for Refugees and Love Zimbabwe charities. Food and drink will available throughout the weekend in the Globe Bar and Cafe. Free entry all weekend, open each day from 10am-5pm.
Join us at our popular annual event, celebrating craftsmanship, handmade arts and crafts, and showcasing local makers.
