Moishe’s Bagel return to Presteigne on Sunday, June 23 with their thrillingly original cutting-edge klezmer and folk music. The evening promises an intoxicating mix of Eastern European dance music, Middle Eastern rhythms and virtuoso performances. In the 15 years they have been together, pianist Phil Alexander, violinist Greg Lawson, accordion player Pete Garnett, bass player Mario Caribe and percussionist Guy Nicolson have developed a musical chemistry that captivates audiences with their highly original, deeply involving sound. Moishe’s Bagel are, without doubt, one of the most exciting live bands around.
"true originals" - The Guardian; "A mischievous undertone of humour, a rare sense of balance and grace" declared The Times
