Kidderminster Male Choir bring their unique sound and showmanship to The Regal for one night only, with all profits from the concert donated to the Air Ambulance.

The Male Choir has a rich local history and is looking forward to their first live concert in Tenbury Wells. For well over 150 years the Midlands town of Kidderminster was one of the world’s leading carpet manufacturing centres.

In 1904 a group of carpet workers got together and formed a small singing group. From humble beginnings the Choir has grown to, what is today reputed to be, one of the UK’s leading Male Choirs. Continually performing, throughout its history, the choir has built a reputation for great singing and as a major contributor to charitable causes.

The Choir has been invited to sing across the globe to include, Europe, Australasia, the Americas and of course many UK concerts and tours. Recently, the choir was recognised with the presentation, to the choir, of the inaugural, Mayoral Certificate and Award for Outstanding Contribution to Kidderminster.

In 2017 the choir added to its kudos when at the Brighton International Male Choir Competition it came second, by one point, to Bournemouth Male Voice Choir who are rated as probably the best in the UK. In 2018 the choir announced a new Honorary President: Music Entrepreneur Pete Waterman OBE.

Kidderminster Male Choir will appear for one night only on Sunday, March 31 at 7.30pm at The Regal, Tenbury Wells. To book, call the box office on 01584 811442 or visit regaltenbury.co.uk
