Photography and art enthusiasts are in for a treat with the added opportunity to vote for a winner as the finalists of this year's 'Ludlow 7 2019' line up to exhibit at the Photospace Gallery in Ludlow.

This year's magnificent seven finalists are Amanda D'Arcy, Andrew Fusek Peters, Cliff Spooner, Ed Phillips, Jade Temple Sayers, Keith Davies and Keith Pointon.

On show are a set of excellent images featuring a diverse range of subjects including wildlife, street and travel images which will be on display until Saturday, March 10.

The public are encouraged to visit the gallery in Quality Square and vote for their favourite set of images for the 'People's Choice' award, with the winner being given the opportunity to hold a solo exhibition at the Photospace.

Last year's 'People's Choice' winner Tottie Aarvold is exhibiting her work titled 'Irregular Regularities' which will be running alongside this years competition in Gallery 1 on Quality Square.

Tottie, who recently won the The Signature Art Prize in the film and photography section, is an artist and fine art photographer who focuses on the abstract qualities of the world in paint or through a lens. She sees her photographic images as ‘found paintings’, an organic fusing

of both the human and natural world.

Tottie's work is very personal and involves self-exploration. She worked for many years as a psychotherapist which has led to her interest in the hidden and revealed, in what lies beneath.

She says, "The camera is my eye, it captures what stands out for me in the world."

The 'Ludlow 7 2019' Exhibition in Gallery 2 and the 'Irregular Regularities' exhibition by Tottie Aarvold in Gallery 1 run from February 9th and ends on March 10th midday. The gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday 10.30am to 4.30pm.

Visitors are reminded not just to enjoy the photography but to vote for their favourite photographer!
