THE Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre have a great range of activities for visitors to enjoy in the month of March.

They have photography and craft exhibitions running in the gallery and the chance to become a habitat helper on the first Sunday of the month.

Flicks in the Sticks will continue with their program of films, showing both Bohemian Rhapsody and Smallfoot and there will be a quiz afternoon towards the end of the month.

Of particular interest is the Wild Garlic Walk which will be held on Sunday, March 31 from 10.30am - 1pm.

Enjoy a morning in the Shropshire countryside learning about a free superfood that grows on your doorstep.

Take part in the Wild Garlic Walk and pick your own to use, looking out for wildlife along the way.

Head back to the centre in time for lunch and afterwards centre manager, Grant Wilson will be doing a wild garlic pesto making demonstration in the afternoon.

Pesto will be available to try and buy on the day and entry is free.
