SEVENTY people from Bishop's Castle and beyond, in a variety of vintage and classic cars, tractors and Land Rovers met at the Inn on The Green at Wentnor on December 29.
They followed a 20 mile route around the area and over the Stiperstones enjoying the fantastic view of the South Shropshire countryside, stopping mid-way for refreshments at Pollerdine.
They ended the day with a tasty carvery back at The Inn on The Green.
The event raised £1,000 to be donated to Cancer Research and £100 to Norbury Playgroup for the purchase of a ride on toy tractor for the children to enjoy.
Organisers wish to extend their thanks to everyone who attended and donated draw prizes.
