LOCAL auctioneer Paul Bebb, who holds a regular auction sale at Bishop’s Castle has raised £200 for the Save the SpArC Campaign through a raffle held at the pre Christmas sale held on December 15.

Ruth Houghton, Trustee said “Throughout the year we have been well supported by local businesses with our fundraising activities and we are very grateful for this support. This donation of £200 from Paul and his team brings the total raised through fundraising during 2018 to just under £10k.”

General household auction sales are held at Bishop’s Castle throughout the year and always attract a good crowd and a loyal customer base.

Paul Bebb, auctioneer said “We are very well supported by the people of Bishop’s Castle and the surrounding area and wanted to help a local charity so this year selected Save the SparC. We aim to support a different charity each year with a Christmas raffle and I would like to thank everyone who has taken part and supported us this year”.

The final sale of 2018 will be held on the weekend December 28-29 followed by a new sale schedule in 2019.

Sales are held on Friday evenings and during the day on Saturdays at Bishop’s Castle Public Hall.
