THERE will be a performance by the Tenbury Library Choir this Christmas.
Tenbury will be singing festive songs downstairs in the library on Monday, at 11.30am.
Everyone is invited to come along and hear the choir, now in its eighth year, and enjoy some mince pies with the choir and library staff afterwards.
The choir was started eight years ago when the main bridge over the river was closed after terrible flooding. It was the brain child of the chief librarian who wanted to raise the spirits of Tenbury folk facing months of chaos and loss of earnings.
“We have been meeting on Monday mornings ever since and
the choir sound terrific,” said Polly Bolton who is involved with the choir.
“We sing songs from all around the world and the choir are such a friendly group,”
