The last recital in the Lion Ballroom's autumn series takes place on Sunday at 3pm, when
Duncan Honeybourne, returns for a concert of Piano Music for Christmas. The music will be works by Franz Liszt, Felix Mendelssohn, Gustav Holst, Judith Bingham, Sergey Lyapunov and Ruth Barrett and will reflect the Christmas theme, with reflections from past melodies, such as Liszt’s incorporation of ‘In Dulci Jubilo’, together with contemporary material such as Ruth Barrett’s ‘Pictures in the Snow’.
