TEA and cakes were served in Bishop's Castle Town Hall on Remembrance Sunday as part of 'Bishop's Castle Remembers' events in the town.
Donations were given to the Royal British Legion.
The afternoon also included displays of local history connected to the First World War, short films and a model of the battle trenches made by pupils at Bishop's Castle Primary School.
