Families are in for a treat this October half term when a national tour of a children’s classic stops off at The Regal, Tenbury Wells.
Dr. Dolittle, based on the Hugh Lofting books is a brand new musical with original music, lots of audience participation and amazing puppets.
“Each year we try and bring a live children’s show to The Regal to give families something different, and to give kids a chance to watch live theatre. Past shows such as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice, The Amazing Thing and Hoot Owl have been really popular and audiences have left with huge grins on their faces. There is nothing like live theatre for kids where they can experience colour, music and puppets.”
The story of the animal Doctor who talks to the animals and who sails the seven seas in search of exotic animals has thrilled generations of kids, notably in the movie starring Rex Harrison.
