THE Ludlow Market is open to all and trades six days a week - every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout July, August and September.

Ludlow's outdoor department store and the perfect place to visit on a summer's day.

Mayor of Ludlow, Cllr Tim Gill said, 'Ludlow market is a gem, and worth visiting in its own right, but Ludlow has so much more to offer. Our local independent shops that sell excellent quality produce, gifts, fashion and household goods need and deserve our support. As do the many cafes, pubs and restaurants that serve delicious locally sourced and specialist food and drink. We are very lucky to have all this on our doorstep and we should do our best to support local businesses.'

Cllr Gill continued, 'As well as great shopping, Ludlow has so much to offer visitors and local residents, Ludlow's ancient heritage can be seen from every street of our beautiful town, and for those who look for it - there is good value to be had.

'Ludlow Museum at the Buttercross is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at £1 for adult and 50p for children over 5yrs. St Laurence's Church is free, but would also welcome a small donation, and local people can purchase a £12 annual season ticket for Ludlow Castle valid from April each year. Summer is a wonderful time for exploring, and your own town is a great place to start.'
