TENBURY Ladies extended their recent unbeaten run with a 1-1 draw at second-placed Bromsgrove in the Worcestershire Hockey League.
Tenbury took the lead in the opening five minutes after attacking play from Vicky Jones, Cat Mumford and Abi Davis resulted in Naomi Burgoyne edging the ball over the line.
Bromsgrove equalised before the break and applied relentless pressure in the second half only to find Tenbury keeper Fern Bowkett in outstanding form.
Tenbury Seconds climbed to the top of Division Two following their 2-1 win at Bromsgrove Fifths.
In-form youngsters Hettie Wood and Carys Cockayne were dominant in midfield providing the goal scoring opportunities for Lisa Stokes and Emily Moseley.
