A COMMUNITY centre in Church Stretton is planning a seasonal Frost Fair.
Mayfair Community Centre in Church Stretton is opening its doors on Saturday, November 19 – to herald the arrival of the festive season.
"We are planning a wonderful day for families, which will include a fancy dress competition for 4-12 year-olds, along the 'Frozen' theme,” said Sophie Eades, the coordinator at the Mayfair Centre.
There will be a home-grown troupe of belly dancers and Father Christmas will also put in an appearance.
"We will also have lots of local businesses selling their wares, including jewellery, photographic prints, crafts and books,” added Sophie.
Other attractions will include face-painting, the Strettons Community Choir who will sing and a vintage steam vehicle show.
This will be the third Frost Fair and it is hoped that it will be even more popular than last year when it was attended by more than 500 people.
It is on Saturday, November 19 between 10am and 4.30pm. Admission is free.
