INFORMATION about services for older people, including those with dementia, will be available in Tenbury.
It will enable people to find out more about the support and services that are available for older people in Tenbury and the Teme Valley.
The showcasing event is intended for older people, their family, friends and carers to find out more about what local services are available to support them to “age well”.
Dementia awareness will be an important theme and the Alzheimer’s Society will be on hand to offer lots of information and advice.
The will also be a free health check for anyone aged between 40 and 70 years.
The main event at the Regal in Tenbury is from 11am until 2pm on Monday (October 10) and will be followed by a Dementia Friends Session from 2 – 3pm, which will raise awareness of how we can support people living with dementia.
