THE monthly farmers’ market in Craven Arms fell victim to heavy rain.
Held on the first Saturday of every month at the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, buyers faced having to keep out of the rain.
While some of the sellers braved the elements others moved inside in a bid to stay dry as the fading summer appeared to be shedding tears as it bids farewell for another year.
But the traders and buyers will be back in October hoping for an Indian summer in autumn.
