CAROL Collier is a Tenbury businesswoman with a mission to become ‘tops for bottoms’’.
Now she has taken her business to the next level less than a year after opening ‘Smarty Pants’ in the town.
Carol has moved her shop on to Teme Street as she plans to expand her range of stock of women and men’s underwear.
The one-time administrator at the Tenbury Transport Trust changed direction and opened ‘Smarty Pants’ in the town at the end of last summer.
As the name suggests, the shop in Teme Court aims to provide the very best when it comes to underwear.
Her speciality has been knickers and pants from the everyday to the exotic. Now she plans to extend her range of stock.
But the shop is also about ‘tops and bottoms’ as Carol also sells bras for women of all ages, shapes and sizes.
However, it is not only underwear as ‘Smarty Pants’ also sells blouses, skirts and trousers.
Her suppliers come from the UK and Europe including Italy.
She says that the first year in business has been good and now it is time for a move.
“Going on to Teme Street will make us more visible,” said Carol.
As summer draws to a close, she looks towards the introduction of autumn and winter stock with the Christmas buying season not too far away.
