Eastham Bridge, which collapsed last week
I am not a Structural engineer but the pictures showing the collapse of Eastham Bridge (Tenbury Wells Advertiser, May 26), show a forest of greenery growing out the mortar.
Surely this contributed to the weakening of the structure over the years and the sad demise of an iconic peace of history.I am so glad that no one was injured and look forward to the bridge being restored to it's former glory.
