THE arrival of spring has brought visitors into Ludlow from Africa.
Swifts have made a return and the Ludlow Swift Group is doing what it can to make them welcome.
Robin Pote from the Group says that the early signs are good.
The group will have a stall on the Ludlow Local Produce Market on Thursday (May 12) and will also be staging special evening events at The Charlton Arms on Saturday and Sunday (May 14 and 15) from 6.30pm until dusk.
“It would be great to see anyone that can make it to support or just turn up and say hello at any of the events,” said Robin Pote.
“Last year we had spectacular views of numerous swifts flying low over our heads at the Charlton. By tradition, the Market stall has always brought rain, or at least drizzle! Please feel free to join us sheltering.”
