Reader letter: The NHS saved my life

MY LIFE was saved by the NHS’s action in 2005. 
The NHS also saved me from disability, with an operation years later. 
Jeremy Hunt, on the government’s behalf, insists on misquoting statistics, an insult to the public’s intelligence. One cannot pour a quart into a pint pot as the health service leaders are insisting is possible.
